Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean is along timer in our concerts and so I am quite familiar with it. But nevertheless I had to fix some issues. On measure 7 i always played a bit before I had to, and I fixed that with a few repetitions. Also, on measure 119 I had to take time to play the notes and the rests completely and correctly. It was always a challenging spot because the tempo changed suddenly and it sounded a bit off. I played the song twice over to make sure I fixed the problem and I finished working on Pirates

Motown Revue

Motown Revue is a song we have played since 7th grade and so my mistakes were already solidified and it took a while to fix it. 65 where abc starts is a complicated part and I played the melody various times at the right intervals to make sure it worked out. Next I took The Section from measure 9 and until measure 21 I practiced the entrance to the main melody at measure 16. This was a problem for a while and I worked on this repetitively until it worked out. I played the song a couple times over to make sure the mistakes wouldn't repeat themselves.

American Exultant

this song is hard for clarinets and requires a lot of scales. I had to work on this one hard and I still cannot quite play this. I practiced my breathing spots and the entrance and finish of the section 51-63. This section and63-the end is hard and continuous. Breathing is vital and I found a few places to take a breath. This part I played several times until I got most of it. I then practiced the scales there slowly, and tried to do it continually faster.

Music of the Beatles

This song I had never played until this year, and it was quite challenging at first. My second part required me to stay playing next to part 1 and sometimes intertwine with them the main part. Measure 140 I worked on shortly to overcome a few problems with timing, and towards the ending, where the 2 and a half beat notes were complicated. I later took notice of measure 34 which I played a significant role in, I played this several times to get comfortable with it and I took the entrance to 41 and fixed that because the note there confused me. After this I played those in context and finished my practice.
